Dishwasher of Death

Alrighty so my day today started out not so good. I slept in until noon and Dad called saying that i should come home for Christmas Eve in Spalding. Yay! Cause i really wanted to just get away from the city and play on the new compy there. However mom calls me and says that if i go home then all the plans for family gatherings in the city will be cancelled. Basically it took me and my parents about and hour and half of calling each other and arguing over what was going on to figure out we're just gonna have Christmas Eve and Christmas Day here in the city which was the original plan in the first place. It was quite frustrating yet comical all at the same time. Then i decided that i was gonna wash our dishes that have been in the sink for a few days. See, i love my roommate and all it's just that sometimes she doesn't clean up after herself. So I'm left with the dirty work...literally! So some of these dishes haven't been clean since the last time i went home, and there was stuff growing on them! Yuck!! So i loaded the dishwasher, put in an Electosol, extra dishsoap, and soaked some of the mold with more dishsoap, put on the dishwasher and watched a movie. However about 20 minutes later i walk into the kitchen and the floor was almost covered in suds. I didn't panic i just figured this way the floor can get mopped again. No worries! so i mopped/cleaned up the floor yet the dishwasher was still spewing suds! Lessons learned: Only use dishwasher soap in the dishwasher...NO dishsoap! So i eventually cleaned up that mess. Didn't panic or freak out, just went along with it. 'Twas all good! Since i didn't trust the 1st cleaning to get all the dirt/grime off the dishes i ran the cycle again...this time with the minimal amount of dishwasher soap required. So that's my story for the day. I think now i"m just gonna borrow a few movies from the library, get some 7-11 chicken (I'm quite addicted now) and maybe a Slurpee in a Halo cup, and stay inside. I figure since it's my day off i might as well be lazy about it.
